The Montebello Voice is a civil, intelligent, attractive complement to Montebello’s official media. Modeled after a small-town gazette, it presents Montebello’s news and feature stories that reflect the rich, diverse fabric of this vertical village in the woods.
The Montebello Voice is an independent gazette for and by the residents of Montebello. It accepts no funding or oversight from advertisers, residents, or the Montebello Condominium Unit Owners Association. It is not affiliated with The Times of Montebello or any other official Montebello entity. All opinions are encouraged, respected, and reflect the diversity of views in the community. All articles and photographs come from Montebello residents. Advertising of all types is free for the residents.
The Montebello Voice is published twice a month, plus occasional Extra editions, and disseminated via email to Montebello residents who choose to subscribe to the gazette. The mailing list is private. To receive or contribute to this electronic gazette, please contact montebellovoice@cox.net.
Articles of any length are accepted – no special format or style requirements. To preserve each writer’s authentic voice, only the lightest of copy-editing will occasionally correct obvious errors. Deadlines are fluid, generally every other Monday. Please send your musings, travelogues, announcements, photos, reviews, commentary, memoirs, essays, fiction, poetry, suggestions, and club news to The Montebello Voice at montebellovoice@cox.net.
